Take GA 515 North to GA 136. Turn left and immediately get in the right-turn lane. At 0.1 mile turn right on GA 136. Get in the left lane, drive 0.2 miles, and bear left. At 2.1 miles turn right on GA 136 at Bart’s Bait and Tackle. Travel 10 miles, turning right at the visitor center sign. Bear left at 1.9 miles (the road to the right is for the visitor center). The guard shack is directly in front of you. Pay a $4 entrance fee, which allows you access to the North Bank Recreation Area, including this trail, the dam overlook, and a picnic area. Trail parking is 0.2 miles on the left. Look for an overhead Talking Rock Nature Trail sign 20 feet down the hill.
